Silver Groves offers an expert engraving service across the majority of our products, giving your item a personal touch. Our in-house Engraving Team utilise a state of the art engraving machine ensuring all engravings are detailed and crisp.

Whether you’re looking to engrave a special gift for someone or treat yourself, we have plenty of options to choose from. Our Engravers can create any type of engraving, including heartfelt messages, monograms, family crests or company logos.

If an item can be engraved, an option will be available on each individual product page before you add the product to the basket.

Engraving Process

To order an item for engraving, please select the type of engraving you’d like when choosing the item. Once selected, please provide a detailed explanation of the engraving as it’s important the engraving is completely accurate. If you're requesting a logo or crest, please submit a detailed picture.

If you have an unusual request or would prefer to speak to one of the Customer Service Team, please contact them by phone, email or live chat.

Once you’ve purchased the product and sent your instructions, our Production Team will be sent the details to create an engraving proof. A proof will be sent on any logo/crest designs, monograms, complicated text or when requested to ensure the designs are accurate.

Once the design is approved, the Engraving Team will engrave your item, check the design and ship your order.

Silver Groves is on able to engrave items bought directly through themselves. Please speak to a member of the team with any specific requests.

Text Engraving  

Text engraving allows you to engrave a note or message onto your chosen product. Choose from simple initials through to detailed messages, depending on your preference and the space you have available.

We have 16 standard fonts to choose from for your engraving. We’re also able to take specific requests for additional fonts giving you extra flexibility to suit your unique style or request.

Monogram Engraving

Engraving a monogram can add a touch of class to an item, perfect to create an eye-catching feature. A monogram blends together initials of an individual or a couple to create a beautiful typography design.

We have ten monogram designs to choose from or alternatively, you can submit a design directly to us.

Monograms are typically laid out as shown to the left with designs going from left to right.

Woman: First initial - Surname initial - Middle initial/maiden surname initial.

Man: First initial - Middle initial - Surname OR First initial - Surname initial - Middle initial

Couple: Bride’s first initial - Shared surname initial - Groom’s first initial.

These are some of the most common layouts, however, it comes down to a choice of styles so feel free to choose whichever option suits you or the recipient of your gift.

Logo & Crest Engraving

The final type of engraving is an image or design, perfect for adding a company logo or family crest.

Image designs are available in three styles:

Basic image - A simple logo

Medium image - Advance logo or basic family crest

Detailed image - Advanced family crest
